When I saw Linda's beautiful sewing rolls, I fell in love with them. Unique, quirky and ever so useful.
Here she tells me about her inspirations...
I have always dabbled in crafts but not
seriously until recently. I am a knitter predominantly but sometimes get the
urge to try other things. Sewing is a creative outlet for me and I tend to
start with a vague idea of the design but end up going off in a totally
different direction. The fabric usually tells me what it wants to be as I work
with it, which sounds corny but is true.
I have never taken classes in any craft
having learnt from family members and experimentation. I use knitting and
sewing to relax from my day job, part time degree studies and try not to let my
wool take over the family home!
I am inspired by what I see around me,
particularly nature, and also the talented crafters I see on the internet via
blogs and Flickr pictures.
